Surf Clothing
To kite surf recreationally, there is no specific clothing that is necessary. It can technically be done in just a swimming suit, but more advanced wet suits are better when the temperature is cooler, and they better protect the rider if she happens to get dragged by the kite.
Whatever the case, the preferred swimsuits for kite surfing are quick-drying and durable. In addition to full-body wet suits, some riders choose to employ buoyancy vests, helmets, gloves and/or goggles. This apparel can make kite surfing safer, and sometimes help with navigation and control as well.
The notion of surf clothing can also refer to fashion worn while outside the water. This can mean a lot of things, but most stores that sell surf clothing of this style will have an assortment of T-shirts, sandals, and shorts. Common surf clothing brands include Hurley, Roxy and Volcom.
